Counselling Details for Admissions in BCA Course to be held on 16 August 2024

The admissions for above courses are done in two modes:-

  1. Direct admission through Institute Level counseling.
  2. Online counseling conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun.


Important Note:

The fee structure for the students taking admissions through any of the admission modes is same throughout the course of study.



Admission: B.Tech (CSE/ECE)

  1. Direct admission through Institute Level counseling
    2. Meritorious students are given direct admission in B.Tech. (CSE/ ECE) 4 years program through Institute level counseling based on the merit of the aggregate percentage in Physics, Mathematics and either of Chemistry/ Computer Science / Information Practices. For admission to B.Tech. 4 years program, the candidates should have cleared 10+2 examination or its equivalent.


  2. Online counseling conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun.
    3. Students can also seek admission in B.Tech – 4 Years program through an online counseling conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun on the basis of the JEE Main rank/ Score.

Admission: B.Tech Lateral Entry (CSE/ECE)

  1. Direct admission through Institute Level counseling
    2. Interested students are given direct admission in the 2nd year of B.Tech program through Institute level counseling based on the merit of the aggregate percentage in Diploma / Graduation ( Physics, Mathematics) . The qualifying aggregate percentage is 50 % in Diploma / Graduation ( Physics, Mathematics) for general candidates & 45% for reserved category candidates.


  2. Online UKSEE counseling conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun.
    3. Students can also seek admission in B.Tech lateral Entry program through an online UKSEE counseling conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun on the basis of the UKSEE rank/ Score.

Admission: MCA

  1. Direct admission through Institute Level counseling
    2. Interested students are given direct admission in MCA -2 years program through Institute level counseling based on the merit of the aggregate percentage in Graduation.

    Passed BCA/ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engg. or equivalent degree
    OR
    Passed B.Sc. / B.Com/ B.A. with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at graduation level ( with additional Bridge course as per the norms of UTU, Dehradun)

    The qualifying aggregate percentage is 50% in Graduation for general candidates & 45% for reserved category candidates.
  2. On line UKSEE counseling conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun.
    3. Students can also seek admission in MCA – 2 years program through an online counseling conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun on the basis of the UKSEE Main rank/ Score.
