Documents Required at the Time of Admission

Candidates are required to present the following documents (original and photocopies) at the time of admission:

1. Class 10th and 12th mark sheets
2. JEE Rank Card (if appeared)
3. Aadhaar Card
4. Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC, if applicable)
5. Domicile Certificate (mandatory for Uttarakhand candidates)
6. GAP Certificate (if applicable)
7. Character Certificate, Transfer Certificate (TC), and Migration Certificate (if available)
8. Three recent passport-sized photographs
9. Provisional Admission Letter (if reporting from VMSBUTU counseling)
10. Medical Certificate (from a MBBS doctor)

Note: If any of the required certificates are not available at the time of admission, candidates may submit them within the stipulated time frame post-admission.

Institute admits students in the following courses fulfilling the Eligibility norms as per AICTE guidelines:

The admissions for above courses are done in two modes:

  1. Direct admission through Institute Level counseling.
  2. Online counseling conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun.

Important Note:

The fee structure for students taking admissions through any of the admission modes is the same throughout the course of study.



Admission: B.Tech (CSE/ECE)

  1. Direct admission through Institute Level counseling

    Meritorious students are given direct admission in B.Tech. (CSE/ECE) 4-year program through Institute level counseling based on the merit of the aggregate percentage in Physics, Mathematics and either of Chemistry / Computer Science / Information Practices. Candidates should have cleared 10+2 examination or its equivalent.
  2. Online counseling conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun

    Students can also seek admission in B.Tech – 4 Year program through online counseling conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun on the basis of the JEE Main rank/score.

Admission: B.Tech Lateral Entry (CSE/ECE)

  1. Direct admission through Institute Level counseling

    Interested students are given direct admission in the 2nd year of B.Tech program through Institute level counseling based on the merit of the aggregate percentage in Diploma/Graduation (Physics, Mathematics). The qualifying aggregate percentage is 50% for general candidates and 45% for reserved category candidates.
  2. Online UKSEE counseling conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun

    Students can also seek admission in B.Tech Lateral Entry program through online UKSEE counseling conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun on the basis of the UKSEE rank/score.

Admission: MCA

  1. Direct admission through Institute Level counseling

    Interested students are given direct admission in MCA – 2 year program through Institute level counseling based on the merit of the aggregate percentage in Graduation.

    Passed BCA / Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent degree
    OR
    Passed B.Sc. / B.Com / B.A. with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at graduation level (with additional Bridge course as per the norms of UTU, Dehradun).

    The qualifying aggregate percentage is 50% for general candidates and 45% for reserved category candidates.
  2. Online UKSEE counseling conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun

    Students can also seek admission in MCA – 2 year program through online counseling conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun on the basis of the UKSEE Main rank/score.

Admission: BCA

  1. Direct admission through Institute Level counseling

    Interested students are given direct admission in BCA – 3 year program through Institute level counseling based on the merit of the aggregate percentage in 10+2 examination or its equivalent.

    The qualifying aggregate percentage is 50% for general candidates and 45% for reserved category candidates.
  2. Online counseling conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun

    Students can also seek admission in BCA – 3 year program through online counseling conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun on the basis of merit.
